SEND is Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
The SEN is for people who learn in a different way, or at a different speed to most people.
The D is for people with disabilities. They might move around in a different way. They might see and hear differently. Their disabilities might be invisible, like epilepsy or depression. They might be autistic, thinking and communicating in a different way.
Whatever, they could face barriers as they make their way into adult life. The SEND Local Offer is here to help overcome those barriers.
