Grooveschool Stage

Amelia G is a 19-year-old DJ with an eclectic taste in music, starting her journey with funky, soulful house before branching into jungle and garage. Her sets are all about rhythm and movement, carefully crafted to create an energetic atmosphere and get people dancing.

With influences from a wide range of cultures, she’s recently started incorporating Brazilian sounds into her mixes, adding another layer of depth to her style. In addition to her DJing, she runs a radio show called Soulful Sounds, where she curates the best in soulful rhythms, funk, and global influences.

Official_DJL1 has been DJing for the best part of a decade now and is a big part of Youngstyles with Grooveschool. He has performed in a variety of venues from festivals, clubs and pubs, such as Alfresco festival and two nights at the Royal Albert Hall.

At 18 years old, KWUISE mainly plays Afrobeat and techno. A true talent he has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and Festivals throughout London. He started playing when he was 11 and has been playing for Grooveschoolever since. This past year he has started his own successful nights while in FE. April saw his debut at the Chronology party.

Kira Kush is a young new DJ, coming from a creative south London family. She is a musician who has been a bass player for eight years, a singer and is now producing her own tracks. She has a love for house, speed garage, jungle, dub, jazz fusion and many other genres!

She discovered Grooveschool at the Country Show in 2024 and wanted to get involved. Grooveschool has helped her loads with her confidence as a DJ and meeting other young people with similar interests has really inspired her.

Sheriff has been a regular at our fundraisers and the country show since first coming to Grooveschool in 2016 after a conversation with his teacher at Highshore school.

A keen learner, he is a valued member and has been key in setting up our studio’s in LJ and Brixton. SV plays Afrobeat, house and EDM – as well as running his own vlog.

A dedicated artist, curator, and vinyl enthusiast, Trixie has built a reputation for blending deep, emotive sounds with a strong sense of musical storytelling. Trixie has a vast sonic palette & her sets explore the intersections of house, breakbeats, techno, acid, electro, all the way to the dub and ambient side of electronic music.

Refusing to be confined to a single genre, she consistently pushes the boundaries with obscure textures, unexpected instrumentation, and a deep appreciation for the human voice.

Tom Gillieron has been producing music since 1995. He has been performing live and DJing since 1997. Growing up in Brixton (and Brockwell Park) in the 80s and 90s, Tom developed a deep love of hip-hop, reggae and dub as well as house music and techno, African music and pretty much everything in between.

Having played at some of the best clubs and events in the world, Tom has certainly learned the art of moving a crowd. An esteemed music producer. We welcome Tom to the Grooveschool stage at this year’s Lambeth Country Show.

She’s passionate to get a dancefloor moving and fuel the energy to get people’s groove in full swing. Armed with thunderous basslines and infectious funk-infused beats, HEAVEN-LEE conjures the perfect sonic storm.

On the Sunday this year we’ll be joined by the legend that is The Deck Doctor. One half of the Midnight Rockers HiFi crew with his partner in dub Grant Dell. Purveyors of fine sound & sound system music. Perfect for the roots vibes.

The owner of Pure Vinyl record Shop. Born in Brixton, Claudia has lived there all her life. An avid Record Collector for many years and former resident DJ at the Mango Landin Bar. Last year played a series of gigs at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club.

Pure Vinyl Records is a Brixton based independent Record Shop selling a selection of new and used Vinyl Records. It was opened in July 2015 and originally located in Reliance Arcade. They moved to The Department Store on Ferndale Road in 2017 and have since been able to host many events, jams and workshops for young people interested in Music. They regularly work with local schools offering work experience.

PIR is a London-born and based DJ/Producer of Irish and Pakistani heritage. PIR’s background informs his dynamic and genre-blurring approach to music. As a founding member and curator of Ensemble Sounds and a key contributor to Neotropiq, PIR has established himself as a vital force in the underground music scene.

Known for his meticulously crafted sets, PIR seamlessly blends influences from across the electronic spectrum, creating immersive soundscapes that resonate deeply. His work with Ensemble Sounds highlights his passion for fostering collaborative and inclusive creative spaces, while his role in Neotropiq reflects his dedication to pushing the boundaries of contemporary club music.

Louis Nelson has experienced dancefloors from the disco days and has been a keen collector of music all his life. He’s influenced by jazz-fusion, soul funk and disco, tech house and deep house, nu swing and nu disco and lately amapiano and afro-house. He’s been a keen of supporter since our inception and we’re very excited for him to return to the Grooveschool Stage.

Sian’s background includes working with Lambeth sen school’s and has worked at numerous adventure playgrounds and youth clubs throughout the borough since 2004. Played at a number of venues in the borough including Jamm and Pop……..also part of the organisation Forever Family based in Brixton, that does charitable work in the community in particular with young people and those in need. Sian will be playing on the sunday this year. Little bit of funky/soulful house.

Former Lambeth Apprentice/Youth worker @ Cambridge House and Jack Hobbs Youth Club. A Grooveschool regular, Kenny has been a DJ/Producer for the last 25 years.

 MN2S resident and instrumental part of 90’s seminal house music radio station Girls FM. All time fave of the listeners for his unique style. Releases on Cross Section Records, MR-RE Records, Clean His House Up(Century City Music) and Babylove – Big Room Records.

Terry’s stamp on our scene is unquestionably concrete, as one of the true original founding fathers of Tech House, with an infinite list of coveted releases under his belt, not to mention being one of Fabric London’s longest standing original residents, his historically celebrated career spanning well over 3 decades and his infallible ability as a producer to consistently deliver impeccable music, deem him without question one of the most important figures of our times among our scene.

Any labelling of Terry’s style is fairly pointless because what he does is what all the very best DJ’s do. He blurs the lines between the past and the present to create the future and always plays from the heart. Crucially though, he does it just that little bit better than almost anybody else.

We’re honoured to have Terry join us this year. He has been a solid supporter of Grooveschool since it’s inception and played at numerous fundraiser’s over the years as well as enabling behind closed scenes visits to fabric with the young DJ’s, such a warm and inspiring experience for them all.
