Cycle Confident Cycle Skills Zone (2pm - 6pm)

Cycle Confident, Lambeth Council’s cycle training provider, will be running an exciting Cycle Skills Zone from 2pm – 6pm.

All the family are welcome! Come along to the basketball and tennis courts and try your hand at riding the bike seesaw, balance snake and ramps, see how low you can go under the limbo bars or just use your own pedal power to get the boom box going!

Active Travel Stall

Come and discuss the various projects and incentives we have for residents to travel actively around the borough. Including School Streets, cycle hangars, cycle training, Play Streets, bike rental schemes, parklets, community cargo bike shares, and more!

Peddle My Wheels - Lambeth Bike Market

Peddle My Wheels will be hosting a Bike Market near the Herne Hill entrance where you can buy a fully serviced, affordable, used bike at a great price. Alternatively, you can donate your old, unwanted, outgrown bikes which will be donated to upCYCLE who provide free bikes, cycle training, and bike maintenance workshops for young people from minority ethnic groups.

Peddle My Wheels is a social enterprise that has been running second hand bike markets for close to 10 years now – an excellent initiative that recycles bikes and helps communities with affordable cycles. Their lovely pop up events present a selection of serviced, low-cost bikes for sale, for both adults and children.

Valet Cycle Parking with FREE bike check

If you’re thinking of coming to the show by bike, you and your bike will be well looked after!

As well as bike parking, Lambeth Council with Cycle Confident will be running a Bike Valet area right by the entrance at Herne Hill Gate. Leave your bike in the trusty hands of Cycle Confident’s qualified mechanics who will lock it safely and then see that it receives a thorough safety check while you’re enjoying the fair, including brake adjustments, cable tightening, chain oiling, etc.
