Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The health and safety of our visitors, performers, suppliers and staff members is our highest priority. As such, the London Borough of Lambeth and its EventLambeth team have taken the tough decision to cancel this year’s show to support the continuing efforts being made to contain the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

For more information on coronavirus, including what you can do to protect yourself, support your community and the impact of the disease on our services, please visit the Lambeth Council website, UK Government website or the NHS website.

This year the event will be run online again due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty remaining about when social distancing and other restrictions needed to stop the spread of the virus will be lifted.

Councillor Sonia Winifred, Cabinet Member for Equalities and Culture, said: “It is bitterly disappointing not to be able to put on the physical Lambeth Country Show this year, but it is too important of a community event to cancel which is why we’re working hard to develop an exciting virtual progamme.”

The revamped online Lambeth Country Show will be held on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July 2021.

The Council will work with the borough’s voluntary and community sector, as well as use expertise within the organisation, to find ways of making the online version of the event as accessible as possible for all in our diverse communities. Exhibitors and performers will be invited to contact the organising team in the coming months about taking part.

In the meantime, you can check out what happened at last year’s event on our virtual event page to give you a taste of what to expect.
