With a mix of live music, traditional countryside pursuits, agriculture, horticulture, science and fun competitions, the show really does have something for everyone over a fun-packed weekend.
The show is split into numerous zones providing you with the opportunity to get involved with everything from puppet making in Arts & Culture to sports competitions in Activate… Masterclasses in Discovery to motorcycle stunt shows in the Main Arena. All this can be topped off by trying various culinary treats from around the world that the many food stalls have on offer.
Music plays a big part at the country show too and this year is no exception. Saturday’s Main Stage line up will feature an eclectic mix of afro-beat, funk and soul – headlined by Cymande, whereas on Sunday we welcome back Roots Day with reggae super group Three The Hard Way closing the show. The Village Green stage will also showcase an eclectic mix of local talent playing soul, funk, folk, samba & more.
